Summer 2020 Dates
C.R.C.K was born in the early days of lockdown with the simple goal of creating an alternative safe space online for crafting and chatting, aimed at first for the community of makers that attend Embroidery for Wellbeing workshops, and The Embroidery Loop at The Create Place (St. Margaret's House) in Bethnal Green, London.
C.R.C.K is all about inclusivity and will not tolerate homophobic, transphobic, xenophobic, mysoginistic, ableist or racist comments and behaviours. ✊🏳️🌈
And about me?
I am a trained French/Italian visual artist who works with recycled textiles and facilitates workshops around London using embroidery to encourage the recycling and mending of garments, and self-expression, at the same time. I'm currently exploring the concept of creative resistance through textiles, both used as therapy and as a form of political resistance within systemic oppression.
